I'm very much enjoying the Designed in California podcast from Jason Snell and Myke Hurley. I got in on the Kickstarter they ran to make sure there was enough juice for the squeeze, but you can get in on the fun without all the nonsense of Kickstarter just by going to the Relay.fm page linked above!

I've followed Apple since the early 90's, but I didn't read most (any?) of the books. I have an unlistened Audible of the Walter Isaacson Steve Jobs and I buy the hardcover of Apple: The First 50 Years by David Pogue, which has it's own unfinished Audible purchase.

I'm not exactly sure why this podcast is more interesting than what it effectively the source material. Maybe it's the conversational tone Jason and Myke have. Maybe Jason distilled the best parts and left out the rest. All I know is that this series is phenomenal and I highly recommend giving it a listen.
